This second DVD in the Fortune Proverbs series is similar to the first, but tells the stories of four additional Chinese businessmen (Liang Enguang, Wang Lichao, Kong Qingsheng, and Lin Xingong), presenting the successes and failures of each entrpereneur.  This DVD is designed to show the story behind the growth of each man, hoping to inspire others to do business in a biblical way and to value work and wealth according to God's will.  (Mandarin audio, no subtitles)

Directed by D.W. Griffith, this Lincoln effort was one of the great talking films of the post-silent film era. These brief vignettes about Lincoln's early life includes his birth, early jobs, his affair with Ann Rutledge, his courtship of Mary Todd and the Lincoln/Douglas debates. His presidency and the Civil War are covered in more detail, and the film concludes with the assassination. Walter Huston stars as the beloved President.

An epic and extraordinary true story--or, at least, an extraordinary story based on a novel (Alan Burgess's The Small Woman) based on a true story. Gladys Aylward (Ingrid Bergman) is a British would-be missionary with an obsession about China. As she has no experience, the Missionary Society won't let her go, but she goes anyway, alone, to a remote northern province. She is hated, then loved; finally she becomes both a significant political figure and the heroine of a miraculous escape in which she shepherds 100 children to safety across the mountains just ahead of a Japanese invasion. Curt Jurgens is suitably stony as Lin Nan, the half-Dutch, half-Chinese military officer who falls in love with her, and a visibly ailing Robert Donat (who died before this, his final film, was released) is the wily local mandarin who sees and makes use of her extraordinary abilities. Directed by Mark Robson, The Inn of the Sixth Happiness is a sweeping, stirring tearjerker, a big tale told in a big landscape with acres of orchestrated strings by Malcolm Arnold. A beautiful and beautifully made film that's a classic of the "everyone said I couldn't but I did it anyway" genre.

This is the third film of a series called True Witness.  By showing the growing pain and struggle of a teenage girl, this film provides parents with some practical ideas for dealing with teenage rebellion.  It gives some answers to the questions "How can we make them feel they are truly loved?  How can we encourage them to face and correct their problems?"   This film speaks to the heart of parents or teenagers who need encouragement and advice regarding rebellious behavior.

This is the second film of a series called True Witness.  By showing a woman's struggle and frustration—how she fought to become rich, how she lost her health and how she finally met God—this film seeks to answer the questions "Is money really the most important thing in life?  Is being rich equal to being happy?"   This film will speak especially to women who long for success but find that their lives have to peace or joy.
