Storm is a historical novel based on the life of Martin Luther. It begins dramatically: in a great storm, young Martin nearly perishes and swears to St. Anne that he'll become a monk. Luther's mission, to cast off the bonds of corrupt Catholicism is made clear, and Luther himself emerges as outgoing, irritable, and profane (though Grant can only suggest the profanity). Characters are listed in the beginning of the novel to aid the reader. Dr. Reg Grant holds a doctorate in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary where he currently serves as a Professor in Pastoral Ministries and is the Audio-Visual Coordinator. He teaches courses in homiletics, drama, creative writing and creative radio productionl He also has written, produced, and acted in numerous award-winning television, film, radio and video productions for the family.
